Guitar Strap
A guitar strap is used to hold up a guitar when the player is standing although some players use them while sitting down. They attach to the head of the neck and then go around the back of the guitarist and under one arm before attaching to the bottom of the guitar body.
A guitar strap can come in many different materials and color schemes. Leather and woven materials are very popular and the designs vary greatly. Most are adjustable to different lengths to suit the player’s preference.
A guitar strap can be found anywhere guitars are sold and are generally very inexpensive. It is recommended that the guitar the strap will be on be brought so the color and sizing can be tested before purchasing. Comfort and stability are the most important factors when selecting a strap.
